Hall, Robert Lee
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” Lee Hall announces his passing on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Bob was born on January 2, 1943, to Paul Eugene and Dorothy Hall. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Mary and his children, Vicki (Joe) and Pam. He will also be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, and Meylen and three great-grandchildren, Raul, Laila, and Felicia.
Bob served in the Army National Guard for six years. He was a sheet metal worker for many years until his retirement in 2005. He was superintendent of children’s primary department at Windsor Village Baptist Church and a Sunday School Teacher at Geist Community Church for a total of 22 years. He has led the CEF Good News Club at McCordsville Elementary for 7 years and participated in the Good News Club at Geist Elementary since 2015. His other ministries at Geist Community Church include Deacon of Missions, weekly prayer chain email, and head of the tithes and offerings reconciliation team.
Visitation for Bob will be on Saturday, February 10, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at Geist Community Church, 6697 W. 900 N., McCordsville, In. Those who may desire may make donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Bob to Geist Community Church.
Everyone who knew Bob knew he loved the Lord and he loved his family. He loved playing with his grandchildren when they were young and treasured family traditions. He also loved iced tea…you would hardly ever see him without a big glass of it. He had many interests and hobbies like fishing, playing games, gardening, animals (penguins, dogs, and birds especially), oil painting, and meeting friends for lunch. Bob also loved to tell jokes and share trivia. He did not know a stranger–almost everywhere he went he knew employees’ names and they knew his. He genuinely liked and cared about people. His life touched many other lives and he will remain in all our hearts.
Arrangements entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care.

Bob has been a part of our family for so many years his passing will leave a huge empty space . I will never forget Bob walking in my house dropping keys to his truck on my table and said This is for you. Didn’t ask for anything. What a treasure he and Mary are.

Pam,
This obituary is a wonderful tribute to your Dad. It is a great picture of him, too. I keep picturing your Dad happily telling jokes in heaven with a big smile on his face! 🙂 His love for people, missions, and children’s ministry continues on through you.
Much love to you, friend,
Emily
David & Sherry Scott says
Pam, what a wonderful testimony of a life of love – for God, for family, and for others. Our hearts break for you, your mother, your sister and brother-in-law, the grands, and the greats – such a profound loss. Yet, we rejoice for your father. Although his wish, we are sure, was to continue to live for God so that others might know Him and to continue to love and be loved by the family he was so thankful to God for giving him, he is now rejoicing with the Savior he worshiped with his life. Our heartfelt prayers are with you and your family as you grieve even as we look ahead to the happiness that will fill your hearts as you share precious memories of Bob with others – celebrating the life he lived here and his eternal life with Jesus.

Jackie Wise says
Dear, dear Mary, Vicki and Pam, we have known you many years. My heart goes out to all of you. Yes, we know Bob has more joy than he has ever had. But it still hurts so much. I will say, God’s grace is sufficient and He knows and understands your hurt. He is holding your hands and will always walk with you. Love you in the Lord, Jackie Wise
Bruce and Liz LeMond says
We would like to express our sympathy to Pam, Vicki, and Mary. We are members of the same church that Pam is a member of. Since February 2014, Bob has been helping us out with transportation to medical appointments and other places being that we can’t drive because of disabilities. Bob has been a great help getting us to IU University Hospital Simon Cancer Center for Bruce’s enzyme replacement therapy infusions for Pompe disease every other Friday morning. We greatly appreciated his help. He will be greatly missed.
Dave and Pat Dial says
Mary
We were greatly blessed in having Bob Hall in providing a loving family. We always appreciated his positive nature.
The Family chain is broken now but as God takes us one by one the chain will link again.
May his soul receive eternal peace.
God bless,
Dave and Pat
